The one about pajamas

The ever lovely Claudia bestowed on me "The Blog Most Likely To Inspire A Pair Of Pyjamas Award", which is a good thing because I have a great pajama story to tell!

pj3

The picture above is of my favorite pair of jammies; sadly, I lost the bottoms to these! Well...not really "lost", but forgotten in a hotel. I never did like the top very much, preferring to wear a t-shirt. The eclectic look is more my taste...matching is boring!

Anyway, a friend and I drove to Connecticut to see Robert Plant at Mohegan Sun. Excitement!!! We get there, only to find out he'd cancelled :-( Sadness!!! So we wandered the casino, having a drink, a bite , a drink, a Krispy Kreme, and finally ended up back at the hotel. That evening, I had the most wonderful dream about ... Robert Plant! We were at a lovely hotel (unlike the one my friend and I were at lol), with a green, wide, sloping lawn, white adirondack chairs and gardens bordered by stones. He and I walked the property, talking about J.R.R. Tolkien and how the movies compared to the books. He bent down, gave me a hug (damn, he smelled good!) and told me how much he enjoyed talked with me, whereupon the dream turned into something else (as dreams are wont to do) which I won't share ;-)

I miss those pants!

Today, however, as cold as it is, these are the pjs I'm wearing:

Generally, tho...it's just a big, old t-shirt that I'm most comfy in!

In turn, I'm giving this award to:

Deb R; cause I just know she's got some interesting pajamas :-)
Julie; my partner in Led Zep crime!
Mrs. G; we share a secret boyfriend :-)
Lisa; I bet they're red!
MB; she's my cousin, and our tastes are worlds apart!

I'm a t-shirt girl too. I do have pjs that my mum bought me, haha, but I rarely wear them. This time of year, of course, it's too warm for even a t-shirt.

What a great story! I bet Robert Plant took those jammie bottoms.

Janet, this is so kind. I don't think you have any idea of how seriously I take my pjs. I have a collection...I recently bought a pair of pink flannel pjs with sock monkeys all over them. Again, thanks.

I love those PJ's. But you are right, we do have very different tastes in clothes and stuff. I think that's why we get along so well.

I saw Robert Plant in an intimate venue in Atlanta around 1994. I'm quite sure he's the sexiest man on the planet. I've never been so totally tuned into another person - I couldn't look away, couldn't move for fear of missing something. And, oh yeah, the dreams. :) Great PJ's!
